The snowdrop, for exemple, delicate and sweet scented white flower, resists even the most rigid temperature and is easy to cultivate. It is known as “February flower”, but due to climate change, its blooming range from January to late March. Its name comes from the fact that it can really pierce snow and makes itself space to surface.
If you have a poorly lit garden, instead, the decorative cabbage fits perfectly: its shape of an open hood and its leaves have a bright and lively color that collects all the possible violet shades.
Also roses resist cold. They are able to endure minimum temperature of -15°, – 18°, but generally they love direct sunshine. Moreover they don’t bear wind and cold drafts so it’s good to position them under the sun, but at the same time sheltered, for example against a wall.
