Rosemary – Rosmarinus officinalis: in almost all the orchards and gardens of our country, it may have upright or falling form; the latter form is very suitable for covering sunny walls or to be used in terrace gardens, where it will quickly become a thick fragrant carpet, with blue flowers in May and June. In upright form it can be easily pruned to straight or rounded hedge.
Sage – Salvia officinalis: as well as useful in the kitchen for its unmistakable aroma, sage is also a plant of great ornamental value; with its beautiful oval leaves, silver gray, illuminates the garden and shrubs of sage are a perfect companion to highlight the white or blue flowers. There are also colorful leaf varieties, all equally aromatic and fragrant. To thicken the bush and always have new leaves, just remove the flowers.
Thyme – Thymus: very rustic, very good in the kitchen for any dish of chicken or fish due to its slightly citrus flavor. It ‘a compact plant, a small evergreen bush, which is easily self-seeding.
