On my deck, I keep luxurious climbing and bush roses thanks to the southern exposition; every spring, I handle the sprouts coming from the base, more or less vigorously, accompanying and fastening them so that each branch will produce many small branches that will bloom the following year.
I have always liked decorated wrought iron grills, but due to their weight, I could not install them. I chose a modulable Veca grill, beautiful as wrought iron but light, made of plastics; thanks to the rear supports, you can install it, leaving room for air to flow so as to discourage fungal diseases development. I tied the branches by threading the straps – always carefully and with a soft material – among the curls of the grid, and I am extremely happy with the result.
