In the VECA range, in addition to the classic pots with drain holes on the bottom (such as, for example, our Naxos) and actual pot covers (such as, for example, our Living) there are some types of hybrid product, that is they can be used both as vases and as pot covers.
Cleo as a vase
To use it as a vase, you will need to remove the red cap from the bottom. We pour a layer of expanded clay on the bottom of the pot and spread a layer of non-woven fabric, which allows water to pass but not the earth, ensuring drainage but not the escape of the soil and the obstruction of the hole. We then cover with a layer of potting soil where we will plant the plant.
Cleo as cache-pot
If, on the other hand, you want to use the cleo pot as a cache-pot, or a pot cover, just insert the plant with your own cultivation pot. To increase stability or to help us with the heights, we can add expanded clay on the bottom.
If the cache-pot will be positioned outside, it is still advisable to remove the red cap, to allow excess rainwater to flow out.
